Rowing Race
An interesting race took place over the Datchet Reach last Saturday between the Eton Excelsior Rowing Club and Beaumont College Second Eights. Beaumont won the toss and chose the Berks Station. Both crews got away well, Beaumont taking a slight lead in the first minute. Eton then drew level; in three minutes Eton were a quarter of a length up and then went ahead to win by one length in 5min. 53secs.
