Herne's Oak, built in the second half of the 1850s by Venus Britannia Hearn (née Stocker) of Clewer Fields, lost its licence in 1908 and became a general store for many years; now Care Computers.

Being next door to the Windsor Theatre Royal., it was frequented by actors and theatre-goers for many years. Now a Thai restaurant.
