Mr A H Dyson Elected President
A special general meeting of the Eton Excelsior Rowing Club was held on Tuesday evening to consider the election of a president to the Club in succession to the late Alderman G. Mitchell.
It was unanimously decided to elect Mr. A. H. Dyson to the office. Mr. Dyson is the senior member of the Club and has been a vice-president for many years. He has always taken the greatest interest in every side of its activities and never missed a social or sporting event on its calendar.
The Club open their season on Good Friday when the crews will have their first outing and old members and others interested in rowing are cordially invited to the raft on Friday morning.
