Windsorians are the people of Windsor and include those from Windsor, Clewer, and Dedworth. These other areas have been subsumed by New Windsor into what is now simply called Windsor. That is another story we need to tell, but for now, this section will tell you about its people: famous, infamous, and some you may never have heard of before, but have all added something remarkable.
- Harry Greenwood VC
- Oliver Brooks VC
- Sir Francis Tress Barry: businessman, philanthropist, and amateur archaeologist.
- The Duchess Blair: Duchess of Sutherland of The Willows.
- Sophie Elizabeth: Marquise d’Harcourt of St Leonard’s Hill.
- Roland Errington: the forgotten rector of Clewer Parish.
- Charles Knight: founder of the Windsor & Eton Express.
- Samuel Lillycrop: of Victoria Street Baptist Church.
- John Ramsbottom: banker, brewer and MP.
