Windlesora versus Windelsora
Our first journal was named WINDLESORA, the second WINDELSORA, and readers have queried the change. You can read the explanation in our Windlesora 03 article “What’s in a Name?” which you can access by simply clicking the title. We have kept the name to Windlesora since then.
Editorial
We hope that readers will like our second Local History Journal, and wish to take this opportunity of thanking everyone who purchased a copy of our first issue. Members of the Group are working on items for Number 3 and we are always glad to receive contributions to future editions in the form of articles, letters, notes, and illustrations – old photographs are especially welcome, as are ideas for special items.
WHO CARES ABOUT LOCAL HISTORY?
We think that it is part of our heritage.
Gordon Cullingham, Chairman.
