Why not pop along to the Eton Wick History Group’s talk about the famous George Pocock, the boat builder from Eton, who was the subject of a Hollywood film? The talk is to be given by our very own Tom Wigley, who successfully campaigned for a blue plaque to be placed on The George in Eton. It is taking place on Wednesday, 29th at 7.30 pm in the Eton Wick Village Hall.
The talk is open to all for a very modest entrance fee of just £4 (cash only please).
