We are sad to announce the passing of Geoffrey Try, a longtime friend and member of our History Group. We offer Fiona and their family our thoughts and sincere condolences.
Geoff was a real character, regaling us regularly with stories and experiences of Windsor’s past. He also wrote numerous articles for Windlesora on a range of topics, from the circus coming to town to the totem pole to the Corby trouser press and, of course, his beloved St Leonard’s Hill.
Rest in peace, Geoff.
