The George in Eton was busy at 6pm on Friday 13th September 2024. Tom Wigley single-handedly petitioned and organised a blue plaque for George Pocock, a local man famous for boat building. And it was another famous boatman, Sir Matthew Pinsent, who unveiled the plaque.
