We have digitised all of Windlesora 25 (2009) and published it to the website. Being our twenty-fifth Windlesora, it was a bit of a special one for all of us. One of the noteable articles is regarding a remarkable lady named Jane Vigor. It is a very easy read and excellently researched – so we asked the author, Alison Haymonds, about the background to it.
She intimated that the published article was actually a summary of a much fuller piece of her work about Jane. We were really excited when she gave us her permission for the full article – ‘Letters from a Lady’: the remarkable life of Jane Vigor – to be published on the website. This extends the really interesting story of Jane further and provides a real insight into the amount of work that Alison has done to create the article.
