Ken Marson

KEN MARSON, my husband, contributed an article on Samuel Lillycrop to Windlesora 8 and became ‘marketing manager’ of the group. He made weekly visits to our outlets in central Windsor to replace any copies they had sold. When I became editor, he gave invaluable help.

He really did know about the finer points of English grammar, and also picked up my typing mistakes. He was born in Derby and contributed several articles about his early life to the Derbyshire Records Office.

It was his membership of WLHPG that gave him the idea of doing that. He proof-read about three-quarters of Windlesora 15 for me, and I am grateful to our two daughters for helping me out with the rest.
