GILES BAXENDALE (Bax) lived in Prince Consort Cottages when he joined the group and took a great interest in their history and conditions. His forte, however, was the guided tour. Locals and tourists alike would get the true history from Bax, some of which he had researched himself.
When he moved into Ellison House the group found a splendid new meeting place which we have continued to use since his death.
